Essential features
Power distributor
With 8 power outlets all your audio components are powered. This results in a central power supply and star Earth, reducing equalization currents.
Galvanic isolation
All 8 outputs are electrically isolated from the 230VAC mains, eliminating most of the common mode mains pollution.
Balanced output voltage
Two phases of 115VAC provide a balanced output voltage of 230VAC. As a result the differential mode pollution drains less current to the Earth, resulting in a cleaner Earth for your audio system.
Input filters
The mains voltage is filtered with an adjustable input filter. This filter suppresses differential mode mains pollution and can be adjusted while the system is on, allowing you to hear the effect of a setting change directly. The filter has 4 positions for optimal tuning.
Output filters
Each output is equipped with a filter to suppress mains pollution by individual audio components. In addition, there is an adjustable output filter that works across all outputs and reduces both differential and common mode pollution. This filter has 4 positions and can be adjusted while the system is on.
System Earth
For optimal results, a separate System Earth can be connected, for instance using a ground rod. This allows the Protective Earth to be disconnected, so the audio equipment is only connected to its own dedicated System Earth. This setup prevents pollution from the safety Earth reaching the audio system.
Active Earth Conditioner
Since the Earth is used as an absolute reference, even the smallest pollution has a huge impact on sound quality. A separate System Earth is the first step in eliminating pollution, but the audio system itself also generates pollution. The Active Earth Conditioner removes this self-generated pollution than is drained to the Earth.
Plug polarity detector
When connecting to the power grid, Phase and Neutral must be connected correctly. The polarity detector signals an incorrect connections and prevents the device from being switched on.
Network isolator
The integrated 10/100 Base-T ethernet isolator ensures a galvanically isolated connection to the data network, preventing unwanted Earth coupling via the network connection.
Adjustable LED color
The color of the indicator lights can be adjusted as desired. Available colours are: blue, cyan, white, green and yellow.
Safety features
Overvoltage protection
To minimize damage to connected audio components, the system is equipped with an overvoltage protection that switches off at too high a voltage.
Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker
Due to the galvanic isolation, the Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker in the fuse box does not respond to the Earthfault current at the output. The built-in audiophile Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker prevents possible danger from leakage currents. The operation can be checked with a test button.
System Earth protection
When using a separate System Earth, a safety system compares the potential of the System Earth with the Protective Earth. If the voltage difference becomes too high, the system switches off to prevent damage or unsafe situations.
Standby after power failure
After a power failure, the system automatically switches to standby. This prevents damage from power surges or repeated switching on and off.
Overload protection
Overloading can lead to overheating of the system. While short-term overloading usually does not cause problems, the overload protection ensures that the device remains protected from damage.
Short-circuit protection
The system is equipped with a fuse that acts as short-circuit protection.
